What we collect

Nothing. There are no accounts, sign-ups, analytics, advertising networks, or third-party trackers. orangenoise does not operate a server that receives your app or listening data.

Audio

In the app, all sound is generated live on your device. Audio is not recorded, uploaded, transmitted, or stored by orangenoise.

Settings and presets

App preferences such as volume, tone, Motion, saved sounds, nightly routines, display options, and timers may be saved locally on your own device so orangenoise can remember your setup. They are not sent to orangenoise. You can clear them by deleting the app.

The website provides information about the app and no longer includes an audio player. If you used the former browser player, its saved preferences can be removed by clearing this website’s data in your browser.

Files you choose to share

If you choose Share sound or Share routine, the app creates an OrangeNoise file containing the saved settings and names. A routine file includes the sounds it needs. You choose the destination in the system share sheet; OrangeNoise does not upload the file to a service it operates. The service you choose, such as Messages or Mail, handles delivery under its own privacy practices.

Purchases

The optional one-time Pro unlock in the iOS app is handled by Apple through the App Store. orangenoise does not receive or store your payment details. Apple may provide transaction status to the app so Pro can unlock or restore correctly.

Children

orangenoise does not collect data from anyone, including children.
